A bacon-less Sunday brunch may not appeal to meat-lovers but this weekend, we recommend exploring some meat-less picks that will serve you well through summer. Camac Street’s Saz - American Brasserie, for instance, has a line of vegetarian small plates that are flavourful and shareable. The Spanish Potatoes, for instance, feature seasoned potato wedges, served with a generous amount of spicy harissa sauce and garlic curd drizzle. The dressing is ideal as it plays up the savoury and tangy notes in the appetiser.
You’ll also spot vegetarian picks like Red Wine Sauteed Mushrooms, Veg Falafel Wrap, Brie Cheese Phyllo (brie and cream cheese puff pastry with truffle flavoured chilli oil) and Cottage Cheese Skewers. The veggie small plates also work great as sides, if you’re planning a family-style meal.
