Aditya Rai and Advaith Inamke’s Nomad Food Project sells some of the most delicious, meat-based relishes and condiments which can save you the trouble of adding cooked meat to your meals. Their bacon marmalade and chorizo jam have a substantial following. The brand’s line of thechas is also quite popular. Thecha is a popular Maharashtrian chutney that’s usually made with green chillies and garlic. NFP sells a pre-bottled version of spicy, garlicky Prawn Thecha which pairs a traditional thecha base with locally sourced 'sukhat' prawns.
Non-vegetarian table condiments are steadily gaining ground over run-off-the-mill pickles or veggie relishes since they offer a quick way to add a dash of seafood or meat to any vegetarian meal and can also be used as a cooking agent. The artisanal Prawn thecha, for instance, can also be used as a spread or as an accompaniment for rotis or parathas!
