Pork delights at Shillong Point

In 2019, Raja Joy Phookan and Nandini Basu Phookan brought the flavours of North East to the City of Joy with Shillong Point, and their Ballygunge location has become a foodie favourite since. They are especially known for their pork with axone and Naga-style pork with raja mircha (also known as king chilli).
The Naga-style pork with raja mircha is a spicy dish perfect for the winter. It has meat on the bone in a gravy made with tomatoes, pork broth and king chilli. The pork with axone also has meat on the bone flavoured with the unique taste of fermented soyabean or axone.
Enjoy the signature curries with jadoh, a sticky rice cooked in pork fat and flavoured with a dry fish chutney called tungtap. If you need a palate cleanser between these fiery dishes, also try the boiled pork salad dohkhlieh.
Order on Zomato and Swiggy or visit them between 12:15 to 9:30 pm to satiate your pork cravings this winter.
