Don’t feel bad about wanting to give malaikari a miss because you can opt for these grilled jumbo prawns instead. The butter pepper sauce is all the zing you’ll want if you like mellow flavours. The prawn is marinated in garlic and pepper and placed on a robata grill (A Japanese cooking method called ‘robatayaki’ which involves grilling over charcoal). As the prawns turn pink they are basted with butter and pepper. The dish is finished on the grill at your table, making it an interactive food experience!
“Calcuttans love seafood which is why we chose prawns and because it’s the festive season we wanted to create a special dish for all our customers, which is how this dish was created,” said Abhimanyu Maheshwari, CEO, Zing Restaurants.
This dish will be available at the restaurant from October 11 to 15, 2021.
