Yearning for some authentic, melt-in-the-mouth Lucknowi Galawat Kebabs? Drool no more because Galawat is here to the rescue! Up and running since December 2020, Galawat is a Sector 1 diner that has been conceived by food connoisseurs Rabi Singh and Moushumi Singh. The eatery specialises in the Lucknowi ‘Gharana’ experience and their spices and culinary team have also been shipped straight from the heart of Lucknow.
Made with 78 masalas following a seven-stage process, Galawat's rendition of the Galawat Kebab is made on a copper Mahi Tawa and the charcoal is smoked at marination for the rich after-taste. “The Galawat Kebab pairs best with the Ulta Kadhai Paratha,” suggests Rabi. Go the full mile with the Murg Dumpukht (the entree needs a prep time of 6-8 hours!) and Gharana Ghosht and call it a happy tummy day with some decadent Shahi Tukra.
