Sake isn’t the only potable you need at a dim sum brunch. Yauatcha is making a case for pairing a tropical martini with your spicy har gau, and we must admit we’re intrigued. The subtle botanical tang of the martini goes exceptionally well with the rich, meatier dumplings and elevates their flavour. At Yauatcha’s Dim Sum and Cocktail hours menu (available Monday to Friday until 8 pm), you can choose two dim sum platters and two cocktails for Rs 1,788 (excluding taxes).

Besides lychee and citrus martinis, you’ll also spot a Lalu — a vodka-based cocktail. The dim sum menu lines up picks like vegetable chive dumplings, truffle edamame dumplings, vegetable crystal dumplings, chicken and prawn shui mai, prawn har gau and more. So, clear some room in your calendar for a tipple-and-dumpling date
