Traffic Photographic is a whisky sour like no other. A citrusy rendition of the classic whisky sour, this concoction is created with bourbon and all things orange. “We add orange marmalade and orange spray (concentrated orange juice) to the drink, which is what gives the drink a great aroma and flavour,” said Swastik Nag, co-owner of Traffic Gastropub. The drink leaves out the egg whites and leans more towards the sour flavours which are balanced by a dollop of simple syrup. Watch out for the texture, because this drink is almost pulpy, while the orange-peel garnish lends it a particularly fruity fragrance.
What’s great is, it’s served in a tumbler which resembles a camera lens, making it all the more fun to drink from, and take pictures for the gram!
