It’s World Gin Day and if you’re stepping out for drinks with your besties, try Traffic Gastropub’s Blue Pea Flower which is a cocktail blended with tea-infused gin, fresh lime juice, elderflower liqueur, and tonic water and topped with an orchid flower.
“I’ve always said, gin is a versatile drink. To be honest, you can use it to make pretty much anything. It can carry herbs because of the natural botanicals in it and anything rich and savoury also pairs with it. For instance, a Schezwan Fried Chicken goes so well with our gin-based cocktail. The freshness of the drink cuts through the spice. You can also start with something like Balwant Singh’s Chicken Amritsari Kebab, which tastes amazing with the gin because the citrus works perfectly there,” the team at Traffic Gastropub tells us.
