Say hi to Halloween with ‘Crossroad Demons’ at Canteen Pub & Grub

This Halloween head to the Salt Lake hotspot Canteen Pub & Grub to embrace the spooky spirit. The gastropub has introduced Crossroad Demons, a cocktail inspired by medical folklore (it was believed in Western folk mythology that demons can be summoned at crossroads). The drink is made with lime, elderflower syrup, hibiscus tea, and egg whites which would explain its smoky, sweet and slightly spicy aftertaste.
Full marks for the creepy presentation as the cocktail comes with a large spider lurking over it. The sheer redness of the drink takes you back to the moody, macabre world of the Salvatore brothers from The Vampire Diaries. Fire up the plate with some Prawn Rawa Fry or some Full Power Fries and keep your Crossroad Demons close.
