Flavoured sparkling water is the next big trend and if you’re planning a summer of many soirees, make sure you’ve stocked your bar fridge with plenty of San Pellegrino bottles. This Italian sparkling water is the most tasteful thing you can offer your guests when they ask for a surprise drink and the brand’s Blood Orange number is a breathy, tropical delight.

The Blood Orange or the Aranciata Rossa is made from Italian oranges that derive a unique colour and flavour profile from their local terroir. Characterised by its bold red-orange hue, Aranciata Rossa has soft, delicate notes of tropical oranges and a refreshing, carbonated mouth-feel with a subtle sweetness. San Pellegrino is best served chilled, so if you’re opting for cans, make sure you chill it at least for two hours. You can pair it with a classic white rum or champagne, or serve it over ice.
