The mango coffee has been the standout drink of the season as almost every other cafe menu in Kolkata is making room to include this pairing. And though fruity iced coffees in general, have acquired a lot of popularity, do mango and coffee go together? The Daily, for instance, has quite a few mango-based coffee picks like the Mango Cold Brew and Cafe Mango which is made with double shots of espresso. Ballygunge’s Craft Coffee Experience Centre also has a chilled mango coffee on their menu.
The indulgent sweetness of mango acts like a natural sweetener and enriches the coffee's flavour. The fruity profile works especially well for iced coffees as it acts like a sweet and tangy pick-me-up. So, we'd say it's a win-win
