Book sleeves protect books and their spines from damage and that accidental spill. They are perfect for the bookworm who MUST have a book on them wherever they go.
Here’s how you can make one for yourself :
- Spread out the fabric (17 inch x 12 inch) upside down.
- Lay out the foam (17 inch x 10.5 inch) on top.
- Lay out the lining (17 inch x 12 inch) over it.
- Line 2 short and 1 long side with pins, leaving space, to secure position.
- Stitch along the lines and down the middle.
- Fold the longer side, pin it and stitch.
- Fold along the middle stitch, lining facing up.
- Stitch the remaining three sides.
- Turn it inside out, and your book sleeve is ready.
