Padma Lakshmi’s pomegranate toast is our go-to brekkie
It has peanut butter, so it’s pretty perfect from the get-go

Padma Lakshmi just gave us our new favourite breakfast and we promise you can make it even on your laziest day. The food guru opted for an easy, three-ingredient breakfast that needs minimal assembly and is equal parts healthy and delicious. Though dessert toasts are trending big, fruits too can be efficient toast toppers. Padma, for instance, uses pomegranate and peanut butter to top her toast. Sourdough is the best base for peanut butter and pomegranate toast. The subtle tanginess perfectly complements the fruity and salty notes.
“Pom Toast mukbang with the last pomegranates of the season! You know the drill: pomegranate seeds and creamy peanut butter on sourdough. This time it’s seeded sourdough from @dailyprov. If you want the ASMR effect turn up your volume! I know I’m incorrectly pronouncing “mukbang”. And I’m sorry to anyone with misophonia- this is not the video from you!” she wrote.
