Chef Anahita Dhondy Bhandari’s recipe combines cherries, honey, red wine and a dash of herbs that make for the best glazed wings.
Ingredients:
	- Chicken Wings: 250 grams
- Flour: 2 teaspoons
- Red Chilli Powder: ½   teaspoon
- Salt: ½  teaspoons
- Pepper: ½  teaspoon
- Herb mix: ½  teaspoon
- Oil: 1  teaspoon
- Cherries: 8 -10 cherries
- Soy: 1  teaspoon
- Honey: 1  teaspoon
- Ginger Powder: ½  teaspoon
- Cinnamon Powder:  ½  teaspoon
- Salt and Pepper: To taste
- Fresh herbs: 2-3 sprigs
- Water: ¼ cup
- Red Wine:  ¼ cup
Method:
1.Take cherries, cut them into halves and remove the seed.
2. Now take a pan, add the cherries, some ginger powder, cinnamon powder, salt and pepper. Add water and red wine to this and bring it to a simmer.
3. Once the cherries are cooked, mash it. Add soy and fresh herbs and that’s it !
4. Now take a bowl, marinate your chicken wings with flour, red chilli powder, herb mix and salt and pepper. Drizzle some oil and pop it into the air fryer for 10 mins at 180 degrees.
5. Once the wings are cooked, drop them into the glaze pan. Coat it all over and cook for 2 mins. It will all come together gorgeously!
“You could also bake the chicken wings if you don’t have an air fryer. It’s a super win recipe! The tanginess of the cherries is balanced by the sweetness of the honey and it is such a delicious combination,” says chef Bhandari.
