“It tastes as beautiful as it looks and is nutritious” — that’s how Aditya Kumar, the maker of Dal Pithi described the dish on Instagram. The video makes it easier to follow the steps as the tummy growls, making one rush to the kitchen to soak the lentils and start prepping for the dish.

Dal Pithi is a popular member of the Bihari cuisine and is made of yellow dal and flower-shaped dumplings made of wheat. Garnished with freshly chopped coriander leaves and to be had warm, Dal Pithi is a filling bowl, great for brunch, lunch or dinner.
