Jorasanko is coming to Victoria this December!
Bengal Biennale’s upcoming exhibition in Kolkata will feature some of the best work by the Tagore family

The Bengal Biennale intends to bring some of the best works
of the Tagore family at the Victoria Memorial Hall this winter, for an
exhibition titled Between Home & the World. Guests will get a chance
to see the exclusive artworks from Victoria Memorial Hall’s rare collection,
featuring the Arabian Nights series by Abanindranath Tagore, the
pioneering Cubism art of Gaganendranath Tagore, and feminine interiors of
Jorasanko featured in Sunayani Devi’s art. Curated by art historian R. Siva
Kumar, this promises to showcase the brilliance of the family in the grandest
setting possible.
