Held at Westside Pavillion banquet, the event that started the celebrations for Whats In D Name’s fifth anniversary, saw guests swooning over the melodious voice of Jubin Nautiyal who took over the stage at 8.40pm. Dressed in his signature style, with a scarf tied on his head, Jubin started with his hit Tum hi ana from Marjaavaan. “Sabse pehle aap sab ko mera bahut bahut pyaar.... Yeh bahut khoobsurat shaam ka shuruat yeh tune se karna chahiye, so yeh gana iss shaam ki shuruat hai...” said the Bollywood singer as he went on to strum his guitar and sing the soothing Meherbani from The Shaukeens. The next hour was packed with back-to-back hits like Taaron ke sheher, Kaabil hoon, Ek mulaqat, Meri ashiqui, Bewafa tera masoom chehra and Dil galti kar baitha hai. But the loudest cheers were saved for his blockbuster hits — Lut gaye, Raatan lambiyan, Tujhe kitna chahein aur and Bekhayali. “What could be better than having the Jubin Nautiyal perform live at the fifth anniversary of Whats In D Name. And this is just a teaser of the fantastic line-up we have planned for the month ahead.
