Boho Trunk located off Prince Anwar Shah Road sums up the experience of shopping, food and live performances, all under one roof. The interiors of the 1,000sq ft space done up in vivid shades of blue, orange and teal is visually appealing and has a relaxed ambience, perfect for chilling with friends and family. The cafe serves Chinese and Continental cuisines alongside an array of hot and cold beverages. Following the concept of ethical fashion, the boutique store houses a sustainable line of outfits as well as artistic home decor items. “My first love is designing and being artistically inclined, I have always desired to open a space like this where I could bring art, fashion and food together. We have renovated this 90-year-old property to suit our purpose and located in a prime location it is easily accessible. We have named the cafe Boho Trunk as we have tried to express a bohemian, free-spirited concept through the art. We are operating following all Covid protocols and hope to include various live performances in the space in future,” said Akashlina Banerjee, creative director, Boho Trunk. The seating area at the entrance of the cafe overlooks the road. A large window decorated with green planters looks beautiful. An ideal corner for working out of a cafe or musing.
