- 3.30pm: A procession may be held from Gariahat crossing and proceed towards Dhakuria. The likely route is along Gariahat Road.
- 4pm: A programme at 50, Rupnarayan Nandan Lane in Bhowanipore in south Kolkata
- 5pm: A programme on Lenin Sarani.

Pedestrian hit by goods vehicle
A 62-year-old pedestrian suffered injuries in his left leg after a goods vehicle hit him at the crossing of TC Dutta Street and Syed Salley Street in Jorasanko late on Tuesday. Ramesh Das was treated at the Calcutta Medical College and Hospital, police said.
