A programme that “builds a synergy” between the alumni of St Xavier’s College (Autonomous) who have made their mark in various fields with the present students was held on November 11 at the college.
The TEDxStXavier’sCollegeKolkata was held in person for the first time.
The event, titled “U-Connect”, was hosted by radio host Arvind Balasubramaniam. The panel of speakers included model Ushoshi Sengupta; actor Amrita Chattopadhyay; Ankit Saraf, founder of Meraqi Digital; Abhishek Maheshwari, founder of Mystic Yoga; and Aswini Bajaj, CEO of Leveraged Growth and a corporate coach.
“We have always believed in bridging the gap between the academics of the students and real-time life by giving them an atmosphere to thrive in. As members of the Xaverian community, we have always encouraged a synergy between the veterans and amateurs,” said Father Dominic Savio, principal of St Xavier’s College.
