Factory fire
A fire broke out at a shoe manufacturing unit in Topsia on Tuesday evening. Police said three persons, who were inside the building when it caught fire, were rescued unharmed. Seven fire tenders doused the flames.
Raising Day
The Indian Coast Guard will celebrate its 47th Raising Day on February 1. The ICG had 158 ships and 78 aircraft in its inventory and is likely to achieve target force levels of 200 surface platforms and 80 aircraft by 2025, said an officer.
