High Court to hear Beacon case
Calcutta High Court Chief Justice Prakash Srivastava on Tuesday directed the state to file an affidavit stating police’s stand on the implementation of the beacon rules. While hearing a petition against misuse of blue beacons, the judge said he had also noticed vehicles with blue beacons plying on roads. The case will be heard next on November 28.
