Interview notice
The state primary education board issued a notification on Tuesday saying the participation of Teachers' Eligibility Test (TET)-qualified candidates who have BEd degrees in the interview process, for being appointed as assistant teachers in government-aided primary schools, is subject to the verdict of a case pending before the Supreme Court.
The notice issued by the board's secretary said the board “has no difficulty to allow BEd candidates in the recruitment process for the post of assistant teachers in primary schools of West Bengal, subject to the solemn verdict of the SLP... and other connected matters pending before the Supreme Court of India in respect to their participation in the said recruitment process".
The teaching job aspirants have started registering for the interview process.
