Flying Club fire
A fire broke out on the premises of Behala Flying Club on Sunday evening. police said. Two fire tenders doused the flames around 300 metres from the helipad. No one was trapped or injured.
Injured in fall
A 24-year-old woman fell while trying to get off a bus on Central Avenue at Esplanade on Monday morning. Police said Neha Kashyap, originally from Jharkhand, was admitted to a private hospital in south Kolkata. The bus fled.
Elderly hit by bus
An 80-year-old pedestrian was hit by a private bus on SP Mukherjee Road on Monday morning. Adhir Banerjee, a resident of SP Mukherjee Road, was admitted to SSKM Hospital, police said. The driver has been arrested.
