AC coach
An additional AC chair car coach will be added to the Howrah-New Jalpaiguri Shatabdi Express from January 9 to meet the rush of passengers, said an official of Eastern Railway.
Special train
The Santragachi-NJP weekly special train will run till Guwahati from January 6 to February 25, said a railway official. The 08047 Santragachi-Guwahati Weekly Special will leave Santragachi every Friday at 6am and reach Guwahati at 3pm the next day, the official said. While returning, the train will leave Guwahati every Saturday at 4.45pm and reach Santragachi at 12.30am the next day.
