Jadavpur University exam system

Jadavpur University pro-vice-chancellor Chiranjeeb Bhattacharya has decided to dissociate himself from the university’s examination system after a section of teachers accused him of adopting unfair practices in the conduct of exams and publication of results, said an official of the university.

Bhattacharya has informed vice-chancellor Suranjan Das about his decision. Calls and text messages from this newspaper to Bhattacharya failed to elicit any response. Das did not respond to a text message.
