Kolkata Traffic Police have not posted a list of programmes that might affect the city traffic on Sunday (24.3.2024) until 11am.

Metro on Holi

Metro Railway will run 60 trains on March 25 (Holi) instead of the usual weekday service of 288. The services will start at 2.30pm instead of 6.50am. The first train will leave Kavi Subhash (New Garia) for Dakshineswar at 2.30pm.

The last trains will leave as usual Dum Dum and New Garia at 9.40pm and Dakshineswar at 9.28pm, said an official. On the Esplanade-Howrah Maidan section of East-West (Green Line), Metro will run 42 services instead of 130 services on Monday. On that day, services will start from 3pm. Trains will be available at 15-minute intervals.

On the Sealdah-Sector V stretch, there will be 22 trains. The services will start from 3pm and there will be a gap of 30 minutes between two trains. There will be no train on the New Garia-Ruby and Joka-Majerhat sections.
