Midnight Metro trains
Metro Railway will run midnight services for spectators of the Legends League T20 match at the Eden Gardens on Saturday. A pair of trains will leave Esplanade, for Dakshineswar and New Garia, at midnight. The booking counters will remain open only at Esplanade station for the special trains. The trains in both directions will stop at all stations on the way, said an official.
Dead python
A 10-foot-long Indian python (Python molurus) was found dead on the railway tracks near Sodepur station in North 24-Parganas district on Friday morning, forest officials said.
