Fresh system over Bay
A fresh cyclonic circulation is expected over the Bay of Bengal on Monday, said Met officials. It is likely to intensify into a low-pressure area in the next 24 hours. “But the system is likely to take shape over the northwest Bay, closer to the Odisha coast. The system is unlikely to bring heavy rain to Kolkata,” said an official.
For the next few days, the city is likely to see a “partly cloudy sky with light to moderate rain”. Since the humidity quotient is on the higher side, the conditions are likely to be hot and sweaty when it does not rain, said the official.

- 9.30pm: Procession from No. 47/1, Phoolbagan Road- Beniapukur Road – Crematorium Street - Jannagar Road – Park Street - Jhowtala Road – Circus Avenue – Beckbagan Row – Shamsul Huda Road and return by the same route and reach Kasia Bagan Tank
