Kolkata Traffic Police have posted a list of programmes that might affect the city traffic on Friday (2.12.2022).
- 10.30-11am: Demonstration-cum-meeting at Rani Rashmoni Avenue
- 2pm: Procession from the front of Yogayog Bhavan, 36 Chittaranjan Avenue, will move along Chittaranjan Avenue and Lenin Sarani crossing and may terminate at ‘Y’ Channel
- 3pm: A procession from the Metro channel will move along Lenin Sarani, Moulali crossing, CIT Road and will finally terminate at Ramlila ground
Newborn ‘sale’
Howrah police have arrested three persons, including a couple, in Howrah’s Sankrail for being allegedly involved in selling newborns. According to officers, Ratna Bar and Biswajit Bar were arrested onThursday. Based on their statements during interrogation, a third accused named Shyamali Naskar has been arrested, an officer said.
