PG entry process starts on September 1
The higher education department has announced the schedule for the start of classes at the postgraduate level in the state-aided universities.
A notice, issued by the department on Thursday, stated that the online portal for the receipt of applications will open on September 1 as the results of the final semester under-graduate programmes are expected to be published by the end of August.
Protest at Delhi HC over Kolkata transfer move
The Delhi High Court Bar Association on Thursday expressed concern over the Supreme Court collegium s recommendation to transfer Justice Gaurang Kanth to Calcutta High Court, saying the move would affect the administration of justice because of a further drop in the number of judges in the court in the national capital.
