A new day, and a new viral trend is winning over social media! On the hot seat this time is the go-to online networking medium for professionals — LinkedIn. Professional engagement aside, LinkedIn is also often the network to find inspirational, motivational (read: cringeworthy) posts! One netizen, developer Tom Orbach, took matters into his own hands and ended up creating a Viral Post Generator to mock the LinkedIn trend.

The AI-powered web application was created by analysing 100,000+ viral LinkedIn posts. All you have to do is fill in information in two boxes — what did you do today and an inspirational advice. Select a cringe level ranging from low to high, and your dramatic post is complete.

Kushaan Shah, a user on Twitter, put the tool to use and created his own post, which was then shared by creator Orbach.

This is not the first time the ‘thinkfluencers’ (yes, that is a real word) of LinkedIn have been trolled, the trend has existed almost as long as the motivational posts have, Remember this mocking Tweet that garnered global attention?
