Hailing from a family of jewellery makers, brother-sister duo Parth and Kanupriya Agarwal are taking forward their jewellery brand Gharana Jewels, founded by their father Sunil Agarwal, with its first flagship store set to open doors at AJC Bose Road. The young jewellers are all set to adorn the people of Kolkata in their modern heirloom pieces. With an aim to make versatile jewellery pieces for people of all generations, the diamond jewellery brand presents a collection of wearable, contemporary pieces with a timeless appeal in their design.

The brand’s speciality also lies in using precious gemstones in its diamond jewellery to enhance the aesthetic appeal of each piece. Starting from bridal jewellery and occasionwear to work wear and everyday pieces, the brand caters to various purposes and offers customisation, too. Apart from diamond jewellery, silver artefacts and home decor items and gold coins are also part of their extensive collection. The Telegraph checks out the store and collection:

“We provide a personal yet inspirational experience to each of our clients. The perfect piece of jewellery is above all an act of self-expression both on the part of the designer as well as the one who adorns it. We create iconic, timeless pieces but at the same time want our clients to have modern, wearable pieces which are beautiful and don’t need to be locked up in the casket. The exquisite jewels at our store are all derived from some aspects of the world — physical, cultural or utterly abstract. Our jewellery collection features a lot of emeralds and tourmalines with briolette cut diamonds. Fashion trends come and go, but the most appealing aspect of our designs is their timelessness. It can be passed down generations and doesn’t lose its visual and aesthetic charm. The simplicity and delicacy of Indian elegance is the trademark of Gharana Jewels,” said Parth and Kanupriya Agarwal, directors.

The bangle detailed with pear-shaped diamonds and set on 18 karat gold is for a statement look.

If neckpieces don’t fit your comfort zone, glam up your look by accessorising it with this set of bracelet and earrings, made of Zambian emeralds and pear-shaped diamonds.
