Rashmi Bachhawat launched her studio The Purple Dot, a multi-utility space for all things creative, on April 19, at the Metro Tower, Ho Chi Minh Sarani. The launch was celebrated with a Summer Edit one-day pop-up, in association with The Telgraph. The show featured women’s and kids’ clothing and kids’ toy brands and labels including House of DC, Pooja Wang, Haute by Hand, Cradle to Crayon, Flubbles, Megha Garg and many more. The idea behind the studio is to promote women entrepreneurs from various creative fields like art, lifestyle, fashion, education or wellness and organise workshops. The Hungry Toy Keeper was a crowd puller as they displayed this very real Sink Toy with a real water faucet (Rs 2,100). The stall also had other wooden educational toys.
Cradle to Crayon had beautiful handmade and washable 7 Wonders Puzzle Book (Rs 1,650) and passport holders (Rs 500 each) for kids in eye-catching vibrant colours.
