The YouTube channel Uribaba, a brainchild of Sourav Chakraborty and Amit Bose, is a platform that looks to discover and promote promising talent from Bengal. It was started as an effort to create new and innovative content and successful shows like Pradipta Bhattacharyya’s Birohi, which depicts a story based in rural Bengal, is a testament to that. Birohi 2

The critically acclaimed series Birohi had followed Krishnakanta Halder, a simple guy from a suburban town who gets appointed as a teacher in a primary school. The place is a village called Birohi. Krishna is timid, vulnerable and a lover. The story revolved around his journey to Birohi and the people he encounters there, one of them being the sharp and agile Radha Banerjee. She is a romantic foil to Krishna, and she is independent and takes charge of various situations in the season. After a successful season one, the new season of Birohi 2 follows Radha and Krishna.
