The Enchanted Forest:

Think trees, lots of them, with white setup with the warmth of chandeliers and red flowers thrown in to add the pop. Celebrity couple Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar’s wedding was just that! The duo tied the knot at the backyard of Farhan’s father and veteran lyricist Javed Akhtar and stepmom Shabana Azmi’s Khandala home and social media went into a tizzy seeing how beautiful the minimal theme looked. #Welove

Ghar wali Shaadi:

Intimate weddings have been a rage since the pandemic but the intimate of intimate weddings is the one where you make your home the wedding venue. Leading the pack is Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt who tied the knot at their house in April. The living room, the cute balcony turned into a beautiful wedding backdrop with fairy lights. “Today, surrounded by our family and friends, at home in our favourite spot — the balcony we’ve spent the last 5 years of our relationship — we got married...” penned Alia on her wedding post on Instagram. #SoMuchWarmth

Lucknowi Love:

Raise your hand if you loved Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal’s Awadhi-themed wedding in Lucknow that was fresh and ethereal. A sherwani for him, an off-white gharara for her completed with polki jewellery, golden custom-made drapes, qawwali performances by Sabri Brothers of Rajasthan, mogras and candles made for a beautiful theme.

The Royals:

What connected Priyanka Chopra-Nick Jonas and Vicky Kaushal-Katrina Kaif’s wedding? Grandeur! The celebrity couples got hitched in the ultimate royal setting, one in the famed Umaid Bhavan and the other in Six Senses Fort Barwara. Both the venues and the decor of the weddings spelt luxury and opulence that was hard to beat. Set against magnificent forts, the regal theme instantly became one of the most popular wedding themes in recent years.
