“Eight years back, I started my brand. I already had formal training in fashion design but never had an opportunity to do anything with it. Finally, after my kids grew up, my husband encouraged me to pursue my passion. It was always at the back of my mind all this while. I started with a small store on Allenby Road. We decided to shift the business to this new address as I was passing by this place and really liked it. It was a dream to expand the business. This area is an upcoming market with many boutiques and is also a convenient location. We have always been into designing Indian ethnic and casual wear. The craftsmanship that goes into each handcrafted outfit is our USP,” said Rajshri Bhansali, owner.

This haldi-mehndi look has a hint of freshness to it. Lekha in the sea green kadhwa-designed Benarasi lehnga paired with the georgette lemon yellow dupatta exuded an elegant vibe. The silver zari detailing highlighted with dual-colour threadwork adds a dose of glam, ideal for the wedding occasion.

This gorgeous wedding day frame is a beautiful blend of hues — the traditional wedding-day red and the contemporary bright and pastel pinks. Though detailed intricately with resham embroidery and zardozi work, the lehngas are designed and styled keeping comfort in mind. Minimal make-up, simple middle-parted bun and the hair worn open contemporise these traditional lehnga looks. Take inspiration for a dream frame with your girl squad!

While you and your squad experiment with contemporary silhouettes for the haldi mehndi and engagement parties, keep a touch of tradition to the sangeet evening look. In bright celebratory hues of red, yellow and bright pink, the models flaunted saris in the easy-breezy organza with dori and pita detailing, bandhani with zardozi detailing and the beautiful and elegant Benarasi weave with zari detailing.

Sana channelled a lehnga look from the pastel palette. The intricate sequin work, embroidery and fringe detailing add a subtleglam touch to the simple and soft pastel pink. Styled with an embroidered belt around the waist, the look gets a contemporary touch.

Styled edgy with a flowy jacket and trail on the sleeves, the heavy chiffon sari in a soft pastel shade is designed with heavy zardozi work and sequins in complementing shades of pink. Perfect for the engagement party or reception night.

If lehngas and saris are not your comfort wear, keep the morning occasion look contemporary and easy-breezy in a palazzo. An ideal outfit for the mehndi or haldi ceremony, the shimmery chiffon palazzo and jacket outfit is designed pretty with floral applique and hand embroidery.

Meghna looked dewy fresh in this pastel straight-fit A-line gown with silver sequin detailing and thread embroidery, highlighted with the trendy fringe detailing on the shoulder and cuffs. Perfect for the morning occasions on a wedding day.
