When I first came from Kanpur, it was a very new and fascinating thing. I had great fun pandal-hopping all night. Even now, I visit many new places through my work and it is really enjoyable. And during the Puja days, dieting definitely takes a back seat,” said Richa Sharma on being asked about her Puja memories.
Organiser Speak: “This year, we have tried to highlight human connection through our theme. Since UNESCO has listed Durga Puja as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, we have taken inspiration from Bengal’s art and artisans, rather than looking at any other nation. Moreover, after two bleak and quiet years, everyone will be out and about this Puja. In anticipation of that, we have tried to make our Puja more grand as well,” said Avishek Bhattacharya, secretary, Tala Barowari.
A powerful dance performance by this youngster to a medley of songs cheered everyone up in the audience.
A sweet song by this para kid got everyone nodding their heads along to the beat.

Performing on stage might be hard but the tiny tots at Tala Barowari seemed to have no inhibitions about it. We caught this young man concentrating on a sweet recitation performance.
