Asha Audio launched two new songs — ‘Africa, Africa’ and ‘Dada, We Love You’ — by veteran singer Usha Uthup on January 3 at the South City Mall, Kolkata. The spotlight in the song is on Africa, which is doing a great job with its wildlife conservation. The track is layered with African beats and Swahili lyrics find their way into the song as well
The second song, ‘Dada, We Love You’ is a tribute to Sourav Ganguly on his 50th birthday. The song is all about the love and admiration that people have for their beloved ‘Dada’. The song also focuses on Ganguly’s undying spirit and zeal. The song has been conceptualised and written by Ketan Sengupta, lyricist & CEO, Bengal Peerless Housing Development Co Ltd, and the music composer for the track is Tubai Ray
“Both the songs ‘Africa Africa’ and ‘Dada, We Love You’ are very close to my heart. The former is based on the wilderness of Africa and sends out a message to the coming generations about wildlife conservation. ‘Dada, We Love you’ is about our love and admiration for our ‘Dada’, Sourav Ganguly.
