Los Angeles, Oct. 29 (AP): Brad Pitt is claiming that a producer and cameraman from E! Networks trespassed at his Hollywood Hills home.

The two parked a van outside the home on October 20, ignored a “no trespassing” sign and walked onto the property, where they were spotted by some construction workers, Cindy Guagenti, a representative for Pitt, alleged yesterday. “We think they opened the gate.”

Pitt and his family were not at home, she said.

After the two went back to the van and left, construction workers called Pitt’s security personnel, who contacted Los Angeles police and made a trespassing report, she said.

A police spokesman did not have the report available.

“That somebody would go onto private property and film a house... I think that’s really, really crossing the line. We’re just looking at our legal options,” Guagenti said.

However, the network denied wrongdoing in a statement and said it was investigating the trespassing allegations, People magazine’s website reported.

“E! Networks did not instruct or authorise anyone working on its programme to improperly intrude onto private property, and the individuals involved have been terminated,” the statement said.

“While neither Mr Pitt nor his family were at the property when the incident took place, the network in no way condones or encourages such behaviour and would like to offer its most sincere apologies to Mr Pitt and his family.”
