I invested Rs 5,000 in a fixed deposit with M/s DSJ Finance Corporation Ltd. Following its maturity on March 22, 1998, I sent the FDR duly discharged for redemption to 112, Bara Bazar Street, Mumbai 400001. The same, however, was returned with the remark ‘left’. Thereafter, on finding out the new address from the director, General Post Office, Mumbai 400001, I sent the papers there by registered post. This letter too met with the same luck. Please advise a course of action for me to recover the amount with interest upto the date of repayment.
