I became a member of ULIP on April 1, 1988 (member ship no. 62015901). I deposited my contribution regularly at Rs 2,600 for 15 years. I paid in my last contribution on April 1, 2002. According to the membership certificate, the date of maturity was April 1, 2003. I am, however, yet to receive the maturity from the Unit Trust of India. In spite of repeated requests and letters to the UTI Eastern Zonal Office at Fairlie Place, Calcutta, I have not been able to elicit any response from the company. How do I obtain the maturity sum?
