The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) is gearing up to host the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE 2024) tomorrow, April 28, 2024. With paper 1 (Mathematics) scheduled from 11AM to 1PM and paper 2 (Physics, Chemistry) following from 2PM to 4PM, candidates need to familiarise themselves with vital instructions for a smooth examination experience.

Here are the Key Directives

  • Arrival Time: Candidates must arrive at the examination centres at least 30 minutes before the exam commences.
  • Center Awareness: Ensure familiarity with the assigned examination centre's location and transportation options to avoid last minute hassle.
  • Seat Allocation: Candidates must strictly adhere to their allotted examination centre; deviation will result in paper cancellation.
  • Admit Card & ID: Carry printed copies of the admit card, a colour photograph (as uploaded during the application process), and a valid photo ID.
  • Seating: Occupy seats at least 15 minutes before the test begins.
  • Punctuality: Late entry beyond the stipulated time will not be entertained.
  • Prohibited Items: Leave behind any unauthorised items, including written material, calculators and communication devices.
  • OMR Sheet Verification: Ensure OMR number and question booklet number alignment; request replacement if necessary.
  • Question Booklet Protocol: Follow instructions meticulously, sign on top, and fill in necessary details accurately.
  • Darkening Circles: Properly darken circles for question booklet number, roll number, and series.
  • Writing Protocol: Write names in BLOCK letters; ensure correct spelling on attendance sheets.
  • Question Booklet Handling: Open booklets only as instructed; report any damage or readability issues immediately.
  • Conduct: Maintain silence throughout the exam; any malpractice will lead to severe consequences.
  • Interaction: Refrain from conversing with invigilators about examination content.
  • Rough Work: Limit rough work to designated spaces within the question booklet.
  • Seating Protocol: Seek invigilator permission before leaving the seat until the examination concludes.
  • Post-Exam: Collect question booklet after the test; exit only after OMR collection and tallying.
  • Impersonation: Any attempt at impersonation will result in police involvement and immediate cancellation of candidature.
