Recruitment policy for management trainees

There are a lot of avenues open to recruiters to find the right candidates. We tend to use a mix of these options. We generally recruit management trainees through direct applications, newspaper advertisements, consultants and campus interviews. This is to ensure that the company hires the right people.

Terms

We don?t have any contractual sysytem of employment. All employees are hired on a permanent basis and the retirement age is 58.

Postings/ transfers

Postings can be at any of the 89 properties and guest relation officers are trained to be multi-functional. Presently, 89 Cinemas operates in Calcutta and the second property is due to open on January 2005 in Durgapur.
