
Food delivery app Zomato zooms in to Ranchi
Food app Zomato has launched its online order and food delivery services in Ranchi. Informing this via mail to this paper, Zomato said it tied up with leading Ranchi restaurants. The average delivery time is 33 minutes. Zomato operates on both Android and iOS and offers order tracking system, personalised customer service and multiple pay options such as cash on delivery, debit and credit cards and e-wallets. With this, Zomato food delivery services are available in 31 Indian cities
Wired up for growth
Wire and cable manufacturers Krishna Electrical Industries (KEI) will target a threefold increase in retail footprint in the next three years ending 2020-21 in Bihar and Jharkhand and will also double its dealer base within the same time. Company CMD Anil Gupta announced this during a channel partners' meet in Ranchi on August 24, adding the company would also increase its current business of Rs 75 crore in Bihar and Jharkhand to the tune of Rs 125 crore during the current fiscal 2018-19. The company now has 115 direct dealers in Bihar and Jharkhand that would double by 2020-21, he said, adding the company wanted to increase its current market share of 10 per cent to 30 per cent in that period

Samsung India has made it presence felt in the field of air conditioning in Ranchi with customised service along with its standardised products in factories, hospitals, commercial showrooms and IT offices, said company director (AC division) Vipin Agarwal on August 20. There are many advantages of HVAC (heating, ventilation and air-conditioning) system, he said, adding it could maximise operational, space and cost efficiency and comfort, besides energy conservation, at commercial and residential establishments
