Jamshedpur, Dec. 21: Springdales Secondary School, Amritsar, and Chettinad Vidyashram, Chennai, entered the finals of the 8th Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) National Basketball Championship being played at the JRD Tata Sports Complex. The finals will be played tomorrow.

In the last four matches played this evening, Springdales stitched up a 83-78 win over MGN Public School, Jallandhar in the boy?s category.

Chettinad defeated Bhavan Vidya Mandir, Kochi 48-39 in the eve?s section.

Springdales, which has performed exceptionally well by posting comfortable wins so far, came across a strong MGN Public School. Manpreet Singh emerged the star player for Springdales with 36 points.

The eve?s match between Chettinad and Bhavan Vidya Mandir also saw good performance.Tivya of Chettinad emerged as the top scorer with 16 points.
