The state cricket association will be hosting five Group-C Ranji Trophy league matches in Ranchi and Jamshedpur in during the 2016-17 season.
While JSCA International Stadium in Ranchi will host the Tripura-Chhattisgarh tie (October 6 to 9), Keenan Stadium in Jamshedpur will stage the Hyderabad-Haryana tie (October 13 to 16). The match between Chhatisgarh and Kerala (October 27 to 30) will also be played at Keenan.
Ranchi will also host the Jammu and Kashmir-Himachal Pradesh tie from November 5 to 8 and the match involving Andhra Pradesh and Goa from November 29 to December 2.
Ranji Trophy apart, JSCA will also be hosting other BCCI tournaments.
While two matches of the CK Nayudu Trophy (under-23, Plate Group A) have been earmarked for Jamshedpur and Bokaro, the Cooch Behar Trophy matches (under-19, Group D) will be staged in Jamshedpur and Ranchi. The under-23 match between Jharkhand and Goa will be played in Jamshedpur from October 10 to 13, while Bokaro will host the Jharkhand-Haryana tie between October 17 to 20.
Ranchi will also host the under-19 match between Jharkhand and Hyderabad (November 14 to 17) and Jharkhand versus Saurashtra (December 12 to 15), while the one between Jharkhand and Gujarat will be held in Jamshedpur from November 28 to December 1.
