Lost a mobile phone? Have you been a victim of eve-teasing? Have you been at the receiving end of ill-behaved auto-rickshaw drivers?
If the answer to any of these questions is yes, there is some good news. You can now lodge your complaint at any of the 32 police stations of Bokaro online.
All officers in-charge have been given 15-day role based Core Application Software (CAS) training, as all police stations in Bokaro have now been linked under Crime Control Tracking & Networking System (CCTNS).
"As police stations have become online, even the DGP can keep track of activities which means policemen on duty will have to remain more vigilant," said Bokaro SP A. Vijayalaxmi.
"From today (Friday), all police stations of Bokaro have become online. Now, one can file a complaint sitting at home rather than rushing to police stations," she said, but added that the complainant would have to go to the police station later and sign on the complaint before an FIR could be lodged.

"The four chairman Rajesh Jaiswal of Keonjar district of Orissa, directors K.K Bhattachrya of Calcutta, Devi Prsad Mukherjee of Burdwan (Bengal) and Asim Gupta of New Delhi, met me in March 2012 after which I deposited Rs 2 lakh. But, now neither the office nor any of the directors can be traced," he said in his complaint.
The company, which set up office at plot GA19 at City Centre in January 2012 promised to double deposits in 5 years time.
