Ranchi, April 1: Soon after taking charge as human resource development (HRD) minister Pradeep Yadav today promised surprise checks and tough measures to improve the quality of education in the state.
Yadav would convene a meeting with the meritorious students and discuss with them ways to improve higher education in the universities.
?There are many problems in the educational system and solutions have to be figured in order to ensure that the state emerges as a front line state in education within the next five years,? he said.
He believes that the students in the primary classes are innocent and their problems are of a different kind. Middle-school or high-school students are maturer and can even participate in politics. Obviously, problems of each age-group is different and should be tackled differently.
Special attention will be paid to educate the girls. ?My aim will be to ensure that the education reaches everyone and that proper academic atmosphere is restored on the university campus,? he added.
