If you are a mango maniac who feels you did not have enough of the king of fruits, here’s your last chance to bite in before the season says adieu. Dhanbad’s Cocoon Luxury Business Hotel has lined up a delectable choice of varieties of the summer fruit with an equally yummy range of dishes prepared with it at a fortnight-long food festival. So, the regular lassi has got a mango twist and has become Aam ki Chocolate Lassi, while the aloo has acquired a sweet-sour taste in Aam Tandoori Aloo. t2 joins the culinary journey

Fruit basket: Get spoilt for choice with Alphonso, Banganapalle, Bombay Green, Dasheri, Himsagar, Kesar, Kishen Bhog, Mankur, Langra, Mulgoba, Neelum, Chaunsa and Vanraj varieties of the king of fruits. If you are a true-blue mango lover, be sure to carry a few kilos home

Dig in: Start with cocktails like Sweet Escape, Ginger Mangotinis or stick to mocktails like Aam ki Chocolate Lassi, Mango Julius, Strawberry Mango accompanied with appetisers like Vegetarian Sushi Roll, Aam Tandoori Aloo and Mango Tawa Pomfret. For the main course, be sure to try Aam Achari Sabzi or Thai Yellow Curry with Sabzi. Dessert is heavenly with Mango Kulfi, Mango Mousse and Mango Phirni.

Fun munch: A mango-eating competition has been scheduled on July 14 from 7pm as a part of the festival while a “mango carving” contest will be held from7.30pm on July 15

Pocket pinch: Prices of different varieties of mango start from Rs 50 and go up to Rs 410 a kilo. The dishes come for Rs 140-320
